St. Nicholas
Grand Junction, CO
An Ionian Village bus trip to Ancient Olympia kick-started the painting of St. Nicholas Church in Grand Junction, Colorado. Fr. Luke told me about the beautiful little church on the Western Slope of the Rocky Mountains that was built by 3 generations of shepherds. To this day, the parishioners continue to send me photos of the beams of sunlight cascading onto the murals of the Holy Transfiguration and the Holy Resurrection.
